Missional Communities
And day by day...breaking bread in their homes,
they received their food with glad and generous hearts,
praising God and having favor with all the people.
(Acts 2:46-47)
Our small groups are intentionally called Missional Communities (MC's).
We aim for every church member to actively live in community with God's family and be on mission together.
Missional Communities are small-medium sized groups where people share life, grow spiritually, and live on mission together. It's a relational setting with weekly rhythms to help people become and grow as disciples of Jesus. You will experience deeper belonging. Currently, all of our groups meet on Tuesday evenings in homes of group members.
1st Tuesday evening - Potluck, relationship building, and Beauty of Christ devotional
2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings - Learn to read and apply the Bible and point each other to Jesus
3rd Tuesday evening - Be encouraged and equipped to live on mission with Jesus and each other

Life Together
We want people to be known and to genuinely know one another. In our MC’s, we gladly embrace our more informal connection times and monthly potlucks to live with and love one another.
-
Learning Together
We want to know what the Bible says and how to respond faithfully to it. God gave us Spirit-filled brothers and sisters to help us understand his word. When we meet as MC’s, we read the Bible, discuss the Bible, and seek to apply the Bible as disciples of Jesus.
-
Celebrating Together
As MC’s, we share stories of God’s grace in our individual lives. These are times of encouragement and celebration as we hear about how God is at work to make others more like Jesus.

Serving Together
We call our home groups “Missional Communities” because we believe God has called us to be on mission, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, instruction, and equipping we learn how to love our neighbors in the Northwest suburbs with the gospel of grace.
