Clean Up, Driving, Fish, and Exit Glacier

This morning our entire group started the morning by packing up our bags and eating another delicious breakfast! After Wayne (one of the cooks), made us gain a few pounds, all of the groups helped clean up the church and helped teardown everything that was set up for the summer, being that this was the last week Quest Alaska was doing park ministry.

Next was our roughly two hour and 15 min drive to Seward. We packed the two vans we had used for park ministry with our luggage and after filling up on gas, started out on an absolutely stunning drive. After our long week everyone was quite tired and each person mostly slept, read and/or listened to music.

Once we arrived to Seward we checked into Spruce Lodge, unpacked, and headed back into town for some shopping, dinner and time to admire the amazing views of the ocean and mountain range. We all had a blast and the temperature and sky were perfect!

Finally, after a great view at dinner and some fun conversations, we headed over to hike a place about 20 minutes away called “Exit Glacier.” It was 100% worth it and the views were absolutely amazing! Everyone was incredibly grateful to be able to witness Gods creation and we are thankful for this opportunity!
