Jesus is God & He Loves You

Today’s lesson featured an interview with a “special guest” - the Apostle Paul - speaking from house arrest in Rome. After reminiscing about witnessing -Stephen’s fearless proclamation of the Gospel, Paul recounted how Jesus changed his life, and shared scrolls with this message to the kids:

Jeremiah presented the Gospel using his sleeve tattoos as visuals, which was inspiration for the craft: drawing out symbols of the Gospel in icing on graham crackers.

None of us knew in advance exactly how God would use us in serving through Graceworks this summer. We have had to adapt to the situations presented to us - from an unexpected heart-to-heart chat and request for prayer from an anxious teenager (on the sidelines of kickball) to two opportunities now to witness to deaf-mute men. 

One of the spectacular aspects of serving through Graceworks is the prayer-orientation of our activities. Today we had the opportunity to pray over Anchorage from the breath-taking vistas of Blueberry Hill:
