Forgiven Much

We have a very active group of kids. They like playing baseball, sharks & minnows, as well as mouse on the ground. Being the last week of eight they know the routine well and pay attention during the lesson.  This was good to see.  Today was the story of Peter’s denials and we used this to get the key point of how Christ can forgive our mistakes (sin).

For our craft we had the kids write a sin on a post it note and then put it on a poster board that said forgiven.  Reading the posts was a clear sign those who answered understood some things we do in life are wrong and not how God wants us to live. 

Today Ricky & Nolan had their hair braided by two of the girls.  A good sign of vulnerability and connections.
