Trusting in Jesus
Today was an amazing and productive day at Fairview Park. We had a couple of new kids that joined us at the park today! We were able to play some basketball with them and even got a few to show up at our activity night!

In today’s lesson Matthew and I (Caleb) discussed how all people are sinful need a Savior. We discussed how God’s love is for all people. We shared how if you trust in Jesus and believe that his death on the cross is enough to cover all of our sins we will be saved.

After our time at the park we got to rest for a little bit before having our activity night. Our team chose to do a Minnesota state fair themed activity night to show the kids in Alaska a little bit of what it is like in Minnesota. We set up multiple booths with corndogs & pickles on a stick, a cake walk, fishing, and ring toss. The kids loved all the games (but teased us about pickles on a stick 😊 even though they all got eaten).

My dad shared the gospel and the kids were enthralled with what he was sharing. They were actively sharing Bible verses that they knew and answering questions. We were thanking God for how they listened and engaged.
